T h e starter battery is m ain te n an ce -free and is normally
charged by th e law nm ow er.
In certain cases, how ever, th e battery will need to be
charged by th e user:

B efore th e initial start-up of th e law nm ow er
■
If discharged, befo re th e w inter season, or if left
unused for long periods (> 6 m onths)
C harging procedure:
1.
T ake th e battery charger out of th e battery box.
2.
D isconn ect th e battery cable from th e m otor cable
( O 28).
3.
C o n n e ct th e battery cable with th e charger cable
( O 29).
4.
C o n n e ct th e charger to th e m ains supply.
T h e m ains voltage m ust m atch th e operating
voltage of th e charger.
T h e required charging tim e is abo ut 36 hours.
U se only th e original battery ch arger supplied.
