reverSibLe tripod Screw
Loosen the set screw next to the tripod screw
and turn the mount base counterclockwise.
Remove the tripod screw and insert it in the
opposite orientation. Turn the mount base
clockwise and tighten the set screw.

Turn the balance hook mechanism at the bottom of the center column clockwise to
remove. Turn the center column lock counterclockwise and remove the center column.
Turn the center column over and insert it through the bottom of the tripod. Set at the
desired height and turn the center column lock clockwise.

For added stability pull down the
balance hook and hang a weight or
heavy backpack from it (weight and
backpack not included).

Quick reLeASe pLAte
Remove the quick release plate by loosening the quick release plate lock knob. Slide the
plate backwards until it stops. This stop is a safety mechanism that prevents the quick
release plate from accidentally falling out of the tripod head. Push the release button and
slide the quick release plate back to detach. To attach the quick release plate, place it
into the pan head and slide the plate forward. Slide the plate to the position that gives the
best balance and turn the lock knob to prevent movement.
