purposes only.
The new "DIGITAL" control unit with "VARIABLE ADVANCE" has been
especially devised for Malaguti last-generation scooters, as they are
equipped with a system allowing to manage engine main parameters
by means of a digital control unit (CDI). This system allows ignition
advance variation according to the rpm and the carburetor valve
opening. With the "mapping" of a standard control unit the performance
of a racing engine (for use on racetracks) cannot be fully exploited,
and the cylinder unit can be early broken. This is the reason why
TOP PERFORMANCES developed a control unit with special
mapping to fully exploit the power of its own kits (and not only) and, at
the same time, to ensure the reliability of all the items we manufacture.
