ASSEMBLING INSTRUCTIONS

1) Remove scooter bodywork to gain access to the original CDI.
2) Turn ignition key to OFF, and then undo bolts fi xing it to frame.
3) Paying the utmost attention, disconnect all wiring harnesses between
original control unit and electric system.
4) Connect the new TOP PERFORMANCES control unit.
NOTE: The connectors of the new control unit are fully compatible
with the electric system.
5) Fit the new control unit exactly in the same position of the original
one.
6) To calibrate control unit, only if the original carburetor with solenoid
valve is used, proceed as follows:
a) Turn the ignition key to "OFF".
b) Short circuit the 2-way connector (red and black wires) with an
electric wire (see pictures 1/2/3).
c) Turn the ignition key to "ON".
d) Fully open throttles, wait for two seconds, and then close them
again.
e) Disconnect the jumper made on the 2-way connector.
f) Turn the ignition key to "OFF".
NOTE: If the original carburetor has been replaced with another one
without solenoid valve, the control unit will not have to be
calibrated.
