EMC Deklaracija (Elektromagnetna kompatibilnost) Zbog povećanog broja elektroničkih uređaj poput PC-a i mobilnih uređaja, medicinski aparati mogu biti podložni elektromagnetskim smetnjama ovih uređaja. To može rezultirati neispravnim radom medicinskog aparata i stvoriti potencijalno nesigurnu situaciju. Medicinski aparati ne smiju doći u doticaj s drugim uređajima. Pravilnik o elektromagnetni združljivosti (EMC) Pri večji količini elektronskih naprav, kot so osebni računalniki in mobilniki, so lahko medicinske naprave podvržene elektromagnetnim motnjam zaradi le-teh.
