KEY DEFINITION
ON: press the key to turn on the scale.
OFF: press the key to turn off the scale.
TARE: press the key to reset the scale to zero.
SET: press the key to change the weighing mode. The following modes can be selected: kg, lb, oz, temperature (ºC).
When you hang merchandises in the hook to weight them, it appears a sign of " ►" and makes an alert sound when the weight is stable. The
weight is held. If you wishes to weigh another merchadise, press the "SET" key again.
HOW TO USE
Turn on
Put the scale at vertical position without weight in hook. Press "ON", all the segment will display, and then return to zero. Now the scale is ready
for weighing.
Tare
The function has been specially designed for weighing substances that require to be put into a container when weighing for powder, liguid, etc.
First put the empty container in the hook and you will obtain the weight of empty container. Press the "TARE" key and the display will return to
zero, elimination the weight of the container. Now you can put the substance you want to weight into the container and obtain its net weight.
Mode change
You can change the weight mode by pressing the "SET" switch when the display is zero. Press the "SET" key to change the weight mode: kg, lb,
oz, ºC
Turn off
Turn off the scale off by pressing the "OFF" swich. The scale is also equipped with "AUTO POWER OFF" function. The scale will power off in 60
seconds automatically after weighing to prolong battery life.
PRECAUTION
1. Everytime you turn on the scale, please keep the scale in vertical position.
2. Please use a humid cloth for cleaning. It's forbidden to use benzene, nitrate solvent, caustic soap or any other chemical agent for cleaning.
3. When the display window appears the sign "
" or "LO", it means the batteries are exhausted and need to replace in time. If the scale is
not used for a long time, remove the batteries in case of leakage and damage to the circuits.
CALIBRATION
1. With the turned off scale, keep pressed at the same time the "SET" and "TARE" keys. Without detaching these two keys, press "ON" key. The scale
is turning on, the display shows all the segments and all the symbols and appears a random number.
2. When the random number is stable to press the «SET» key. Afew seconds later the screen indicates a weight that must be charged in kg.
3. To charge the weight which requests the scale. To wait a few seconds, the scale accepts the weight when it is stable and requests a new weight.
4. To charge the scale with the second weight which requests the scale. To wait a few seconds, the scale accepts this second weight when it is
stable and requests a third weight.
5. To charge the scale with the third weight which requests the scale. To wait a few seconds, the scale accepts this third weight.
6. If the calibration process is correct, the scale shows «PASS» on the screen, emits a whistle and returns to the normal weighing mode with the
weight charged stable. If such is not the case, to repeat the calibration process.
TEMPERATURE SETTING
1. With the turned off scale, keep pressed at the same time the "TARE" and "OFF" keys. Without detaching these two keys, press "ON" key. The
scale is turning on, the display shows all the segments and appears a random number.
2. When the random number is stable to press the "SET" key. Appears the temperature in ºC.
3. To change the temperature of the screen up to the temperature value of the room where one is. To increase the value to push "ONE", to
decrease the value to push "TARE".
4. When the value of temperature is correct on the screen, to push "OFF".
5. If the calibration process is correct, the scale shows "PASS" on the screen, emits a whistle and the scale is turned off. If such is not the case, to
repeat the calibration process.
