ATTAChING ThE GRILL PLATES
Important: This appliance should always be used with 2 plates securely attached.
Note: When the plates are attached correctly, there will be no space between the top
and bottom release handles when the grill is closed.

USING ThE ADJUSTABLE ANGLE STAND
The adjustable angle stand is found at the back of the appliance. It can be used
in 2 positions:
• The short stand that allows the appliance to cook in a flat, level position (A). This
position is used for pressing Panini, as well as heating wraps and sandwiches.
Note: It is not necessary to use the drip tray when the grill is used in this position.
• The long stand tilts the grill at an optimal angle to allow fat and grease to drain away
from the food being cooked into the drip tray below the grill (B).
Important: Make sure the drip tray is placed correctly at the front of the grill when using
this position.
