10_Special features

In addition to the main features, there are also special ones, specifically
designed to help you interacting with Snap in an even easier and
functional way.
LIGHTS
EN
You can check the luminous ring of Snap and use it as a courtesy light,
or to create a special atmosphere.
You can decide whether to switch on the ring, or to higher or lower its
luminosity and create a romantic and relaxing atmosphere with chromo
therapy, by selecting a specific colour or mood.
This function can be activated through Snap App and by remote control.
RELAX MODE
Ideal and designed for moments of maximum relaxation, this option gives
you the possibility to customize the operation of your Snap. If you are
chatting with your friends or if you are on the sofa enjoying a good film
and Snap activates its motors, because it has detected that air quality
needs to be improved, you can regulate its operation and reduce its speed
in order to get a perfect balance between good aspiration and low noise.
This option is available for features: Automatic, Dry and Detox.
The option is disabled automatically if the feature is changed, or after
12h, bringing Snap back to standard operation.
This option can be activated through the Snap App and by Remote control.
ENABLING/DISABLING THE REMOT CONTROL ACOUSTIC SIGNALS
It is possible to enable/disable a sound notification when a feature is
activated by remote control.
MANAGING MORE THAN ONE SNAP SIMULTANEOUSLY
It brings a sense of well-being and comfort in each of your environ-
ments. Install Snap in the kitchen, living-room or even in your own offi-
ce: thanks to the option create group you can easily enable/disable the
same feature on more than one Snap, at the same time. A green or red
tick will show up to inform whether the Snaps in the Group are working
in a synchronized way following your commands or whether one of the
Snaps has 'moved away' from the Group because managed by another
user or as a result of some anomaly.
This feature can be activated through the Snap App.
SHARING SNAP WITH OTHER USERS
You can decide to manage and share the air-values detected by your
Snap with other users.
This feature can be activated through the Snap App.
RECEIVING NOTIFICATIONS
You can decide to enable/disable the visualization of a notification on your
Smartphone, which informs you of poor air quality in your living space.
This feature can be activated through the Snap App.

11_Controlling Snap

Snap can be operated through Snap App or by the remote control supplied.
11.1

SNAP APP

The Snap App allows you to customize the configuration and to optimize the performance of your Snap. Thanks to its intuitive interface, you
will be able to read the values relating to quality, humidity and air-temperature in any moment, as well as manage Snap, receive notifications
about air quality, activate features and access a whole world of services, free updates and new features.
Snap App works with the latest generation Smartphones. It is compatible with devices that have iOs7 and later versions or Android 4.03 and
later versions.

HOW TO ACTIVATE THE MAIN FEATURES THROUGH SNAP APP
AUTOMATIC
Snap automatically activates and only when needed.
To activate this feature select the activate feature command, found
on the corresponding card. The card of the selected feature will
change colour, from white to light blue, confirming successful ac-
tivation.
DETOX
Snap activates whenever there are unpleasant odours and pollu-
tants.
To activate this feature select the activate feature command, found
on the corresponding card. The card of the selected feature will
change colour, from white to grey, confirming successful activation.
DRY
Snap activates whenever it detects a high level of humidity.
To activate this feature, select the activate feature command,
found on the corresponding card. The card of the selected feature
will change colour, from white to green, confirming successful ac-
tivation.
MANUAL
Snap switches on whenever you want to activate it.
To activate this feature, select the Start Min or Start Max command
found on the corresponding card, whether you wish to activate it
on low or high aspiration-speed. In this case too, the card will chan-
ge colour, from white to red, confirming successful activation. The
colour on the card will indicate to you which specific function has
been activated at that moment.
LINK
Snap activates in connection with your Elica Hood.
Warning! You can activate this feature only if you have an Elica
hood, which can be connected to Snap.
To activate the feature, carry out the following procedure:
HOME > SINGLE SNAP MENU > SETTINGS > MANAGEMENT > LINK
and ACTIVATE THE FEATURE. After activation, the feature will ap-
pear on the single Snap menu along with other features.
To activate this feature, select the activate feature command,
found on the corresponding card. The card of the selected featu-
re will change colour, from white to orange, confirming successful
activation.
