13. Type XL-50 and Type XL-60
Leave a distance of around 50-70 mm (13a) between the operating blind and the cassette
bracket for the coupled blind. Install the second system without roller blind and front of the
cassette. To do this, first remove the end caps. Place a screwdriver behind the front of the end
cap, give the screwdriver a quarter turn (13b) and slide the end cap forward. Repeat this on the
other side.
For Type XL-60 first remove the lowest cover profile by moving this in the direction of the
arrow (13c). Remove the profile from the lip. For Type XL-50 and Type XL-60 then remove
the front cover profile. Press the front cover profile upwards (13d) and then click the bottom
out of the cassette holder. Now remove the roller blind. Place a screwdriver between the
installation bracket and the bearing plug. Press the bearing plug inwards (13e).
Alternatively: press the bearing plug in from the outside of the installation bracket. Remove
the roller blind downwards.
Then fit the second system without cover profile and roller blind. For the dust cover, there must be
an opening of 2 mm between the end cap of the first and the bracket of the second cassette (13f).
Slide the alignment washer through the hole in the bracket on the side of the bearing plug (10a).
Tighten the alignment washer against the bracket. Slide the hollow tube plug of the second blind
over the alignment washer (10b). Press the bearing plug in, slide this over the installation bracket
until you hear a 'click' and the roller blind is installed. See point 14 for aligning the bottom rail.
Then fit the cover profiles. Fit the top of the profile as far as it will go on the bracket (7a)
and then press on the front until it clicks into the bracket. For Type XL-60 the bottom profile
still has to be fastened. Hook the profile into the lip of the cassette and then press this upwards
until you hear a 'click' (13g). Then fit the dust covers as described above in point 7.
14. Aligning coupled roller blinds
To align the bottom rail, press the roller blind in the direction of the bearing plug (14a). The
teeth of the alignment washer become visible (1). Rotate the roller until the bottom rails are
hanging equally (2). Then tighten the roller blind by turning the dial against the end of the bearing
plug (14b).

15. Removing the roller blind Type XL-10
To remove the roller blind, press in the bearing plug using a screwdriver (13e). To remove the
operating side from the installation bracket, pull on the internal pin of the operation using a
screwdriver or your finger nail (15).
Alternatively: first remove the dust covers from the installation bracket. Then remove the operating
side by pressing the external button in.
16. Removing the roller blind Type XL-20
Place a screwdriver between the clip and the mounting profile and press to release the bottom of
the profile from the clip (16).
17. Removing the roller blind Type XL-30 and Type XL-40
Slide the end cap from the bracket (13b). Press the bottom of the profile up and take the profile
out of the brackets (13d). To remove the roller blind, press in the bearing plug using a screwdriver
(13e). To remove the operating side from the installation bracket, pull on the internal pin of the
operation using a screwdriver or your finger nail (15).
Alternatively: remove the operation by pressing the external button in.
18. Removing the roller blind from the cassette Type XL-50 and Type XL-60
First remove the end caps. Place a screwdriver behind the front of the end cap, give the screwdriver
a quarter turn and slide the end cap forward (13b). Repeat this on the other side. For Type XL-
60, first remove the bottom cover profile by turning it in the direction of the arrow. Remove the
profile from the lip.
Then for Type XL-50 and Type XL-60 remove the front cover profile. Press the front cover profile
upwards (13d) and then click the bottom out of the cassette holder. Remove the roller blind.
Place a screwdriver between the installation bracket and the bearing plug. Press the bearing plug
inwards (13e).
Alternatively: press the bearing plug in from the outside of the installation bracket. Pull the roller
blind downwards.
To remove the operation of the installation bracket, pull on the internal pin of the operation using
a screwdriver or your finger nail (15).
Alternatively: remove the operating side by pressing the external button in.
19. Removing the cassette Type XL-50 and Type XL-60
Slide a screwdriver between the installation bracket and the cassette. Give the screwdriver a
quarter turn and remove the cassette (19).

• Y oung children can be strangled by loops in
pull cords, chains, tapes and inner cords that
operate the product. They can also wrap cords
around their necks.
• T o avoid strangulation and entanglement,
keep cords out of reach of young children.
• M ove beds, cots and furniture away from window covering cords.
• D o not tie cords together. Make sure cords do not twist and create
a loop.
• I nstall and use the included safety devices according to the
installation instructions on these devices to reduce possibility of
such an accident.
