6. CONNECTION AND ACTIVACTION

6.1. Connecting the handset cable

Connect one of the two ends of the spiral connecting cable into the
appropriate jack on the base of the telephone (Figure 1-1) and the
other end into the handset.

6.2. Connecting external power supply

The telephone is fed by a main power supply (output 6Vdc-1A).
Connect the power supply exit to the special jack on the back of the
telephone (Figure 1-1) and the plug to 230V a.c. 50Hz outlet.
Warning!
With the addition of a special external junction box, it is possible to
use the jack of the feeding, on the basis of the telephone, as serial
port of the telephone, whose use is, at the moment, reserved for
maintenance purposes.
