The "Modify" option allows to modify the data of the selected
extension of the local telephone book.
In the order it is necessary to insert:
- number of telephone
- name
- indication type of network (public or private)
- program key (see relative menu)
- program a dedicated ring (see relative menu)
The "Delete" option allows to remove the extension selected by the
local telephone book.
The "Program key" option allows to associate a key to an extension
of the local telephone book.
If a key is already associated to the extension which is inserting in
local telephone book, such association is signalled with a fast
lightening red of the relative led.
The possible options are:
• confirm key/name association (press ESC)
• delete key/name association (press CANC)
• change key/name association (press CHANGE)
In any case if you proceed with the association, it will be required
to press the key to be assigned, which will be "free" (in this case
one will automatically have the association) or "busy" (in this case
the name of the extension associated to the key will be highlighted
and you will be able to change the association or to leave it
unchanged).
The "Program a dedicated ring" option allows to associate a ring,
between the available ones, to an extension of the local telephone
book.
If the extension is not associated to a ring, or wants to change it, it is
possible to choose one, after a short listening, through navigation
keys, and confirm the choice with "OK" key. If no ring is assigned, a
default ring is applied.
