Transportation, Installation, Initial
Operation
5.1
Packing
The machine is packed onto a special
wooden stillage for transportation and
delivery. The machine can be transported
with the aid of a crane or a fork lifter.
• Store all parts of the original packing
material in case it becomes necessary to
return the machine for some reason.
• Attach all facilities intended for
conveyance. Secure all parts to prevent
them from slipping and damage.
5.2
Transportation of the
• Disconnect / remove all connected
cables and loose / mobile parts before
transporting the machine
• The doors must be locked before
despatching
• When transporting the machine with a
fork lifter, please insert the fork into the
guiding appliance of the housing.
If the fork lifter lifts the machine
transversely, this may tumble
over.
• When transporting the machine by crane,
use the four marked shoulder points to
take it up and lift it with four sling ropes
of the same length.
• When using a feeder, it must be
disassembled before transportation.
5.3
Place the machine on its four wheels and
pull the fastening brakes to guarantee a
stable position.
If you are working very long tubes, you
