IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS

1.
Read all instructions carefully before operating.
2.
To protect against the risk of electrical shock, do not put the base in water or any other liquid.
3.
Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
4.
Only plug the base into an electrical outlet that has a compatible electricity rating with your
appliance. Failure to do so will damage the appliance and void the warranty.
5.
Unplug the appliance from the electrical outlet when not in use and before cleaning.
6.
Check the cable and plug regularly for any possible damage. Do not operate any appliance
with a damaged power cord or plug. Do not operate if the base malfunctions, or if the kettle is
dropped or damaged in any manner. Contact the nearest authorized service facility for exami-
nation, repair, and/or electrical/mechanical adjustments.

Do not use parts that are not recommended or sold by the manufacturer of the kettle, as it
may cause fire, electric shock, or injury.
8.
Do not use outdoors.
9.
Do not let the power cord hang over the edge of a table or counter.

• Do not disassemble, fix, or alter the kettle, otherwise fires, electric shock, or injury may occur;
contact the seller for repair.
• When the cord or plug is destroyed or damaged, do not plug or unplug it into an electrical outlet.
Contact a licensed electrician for repair, otherwise electric shock short circuit, or fire may occur.
• Do not place any kind of object into the inside of the kettle.
• Close supervision is absolutely necessary when any appliance is used near children; improper
handling or dropping of the kettle may result in injury or failure of the product.
• When the kettle is on and heating up, do not insert fingers or any objects into the kettle, other-
wise injury of accident may occur.
• Do not plug/unplug the machine while your hands are wet; otherwise electric shock or injury
may occur.
• Plug in the cord correctly; otherwise electric shock or fire may occur.
• Use only the proper voltage electricity; otherwise, electric shock or fire may occur. Use a transformer
when using a different voltage.
• Do not bend or tie the cord by force. Do not jerk or place the cord near high temperatures. Do not
place the cord under a heavy object or plug into a narrow place. Damage to the cord may cause
electric shock or fire.
