Step 1: Attach the Combo-Trak
The table top (#1) is shipped with the combination miter gauge track/T-track
(#2) in place, but not fastened. Secure the track with three 5mm fl athead
screws (#3), driving them into the holes pre-drilled in the table top.
Step 2: Mount the Support Struts
Place the table top upside down on your work bench. Align the two support
struts (#4) with the pre-drilled holes in the bottom of the table top. Fasten
the struts to the top with eight ¾" coarse-thread screws (#5) using the #2
square driver bit (#6) included with the hardware.
Note: In this step, be sure to use the ¾" screws. If used here, the
1 ¼" screws [#7, used in the next step] will pierce the table-top
laminate.
Step 3: Install the Insert Plate Levelers
With the table top upside down, position an insert-plate leveler (#7) in
each corner of the table-top opening, mating the curve on the raised
portion of the leveler with the radius corner of the opening. The holes in
the leveler align with pilot holes pre-drilled in the table-top. Fasten each
leveler to the tabletop with three 1¼" coarse-thread screws (#8).
Using the 1/8" hex wrench (#9), drive a ¼-20 x 1 ½" socket-head set screw
(#10) into each outside hole in each leveler, threading them in from the
bottom until the tips are ⅜" below the table surface.
