Install the Shank and Valves (cont.)
Slide the spout/valve assembly up through the mounting holes in
the bath rim.
Slide a gasket onto each valve body.
Loosely secure the assembly to the bath by threading an
escutcheon onto each valve body. Verify fit and make any
adjustments as needed.
NOTE: Do not install the spout or handle trim at this time.
IMPORTANT! Ensure a check valve is not installed to the spout
shank. If one is currently installed, remove it before soldering.
Solder or tighten all connections.
