2. This luminaire must be installed in accordance with the
NEC or your local electrical code. If you are not familiar
with these codes and requirements, consult a qualified
electrician.

INSTALLATION
1. Remove optical assembly from back housing by grasping lens
approximately 8" from one end of housing and pulling optical
assembly away from housing. See Figure 1.
2. Disconnect wiring quick-connects between optical assembly and
housing.
3. Unclip aircraft cable hangers from optical assembly. Set optical
assembly aside for later use.
4. Remove appropriate knockout(s) on fixture housing at desired
location of incoming power entry.
5. If incoming power is entering fixture through conduit, attach
conduit at knockout removed in Step 4.

6. Surface Mount-
• Attach housing to mounting surface at desired location using
appropriate hardware (supplied by others) for the mounting
surface. Keyhole slots are present in the back surface of the
housing for mounting. See Figure 2 on the next page.
Suspension Mount-
(Requires use of accessory kit C-ACC-A-SPMTKT)
• Pass the (2) supplied V-hooks through the last links of (2)
supplied suspension chains.
• Attach V-hooks to the back of the fixture. Ends of V-hooks
are first inserted into the oval slots in the fixture and the ends
of the hooks are then returned out of the fixture through the
round holes near the ends of the slots. See Figure 2 for
location of mounting slots and holes for V-hooks.
• Once the V-hooks are fully engaged in the fixture holes, close
the ends of the V-hooks with pliers to prevent the hooks from
disengaging from housing.
• Hang the chains at the desired suspension distance from an
appropriate support member of the building structure.
NOTE: Support locations on building structure should be
located so both chains hang vertically from support points.
NOTE: Fixture must be fully supported from chains,
independent of supply conduit.
7. Make wiring connections per the Electrical Connections section.
8. Attach aircraft cable hangers back onto optical assembly.
9. Reconnect wiring quick-connect disconnected in Step 2.
10. Replace optical assembly on housing by positioning assembly on
housing and gently pushing assembly back into place. Make sure
no wires or aircraft cables are pinched when reinstalling optical
assembly. Check to make sure optical assembly is retained along
its entire length.
