SECURE LUMINAIRE WITH STEM TO CEILING:

Lift up the MOUNTING PLATE; the rest of the luminaire with stem should dangle below as shown.

4b. Note that the BOSSES in the MOUNTING PLATE should sit in the GROOVES in the HALF BALL. This allows
approximately 40° of rotational adjustment while preventing the luminaire from free spinning.
Pull the house AC power, ground and dimmer output wires (if applicable) through the WIRE ACCESS HOLES on the

4d. Attach the MOUNTING PLATE to the junction box with the (2) #8-32 fasteners provided. The slots in the MOUNTING
PLATE provides some rotational freedom and the GROOVE in the HALF BALL allows additional rotation. Check to see
that the desired final luminaire orientation can be achieved before finally securing the fasteners.
