Flushing Your Toilet

IMPORTANT! The flushing action for your toilet is unique. Full flush is a two stage flush designed for
superior performance while using a small amount of water. It will seem as if your toilet is flushing twice.
This is proper operation.
NOTE: When you receive your toilet it is set to flush automatically. The toilet will flush automatically 6
seconds after the user stands up, 60 seconds after use with the seat in the raised position. The toilet will
determine the appropriate flush type ( [flush-eco] or [flush-full]) automatically. Refer to the "Settings -
Auto Open, Auto Flush, Deodorizer" section for instructions on enabling or disabling the auto flush
feature.
NOTE: There are two flushing options. The [flush-eco] option uses 0.6 gallons (2.27 L) of water and is
intended for liquid removal. The [flush-full] option uses 1.28 gallons (4.5 L) of water and is intended for
solid waste removal.
For liquid waste removal, select [flush-eco]. The flush takes approximately 30 seconds. There is an
initial flush, then the bowl is refilled.
For solid waste removal, select [flush-full]. The flush takes approximately 45 seconds. There is an
initial flush, the bowl is partially refilled, and a second flush takes place.
