The fall arrester has been tested and approved as protection against falls when the person using the device is thrown out
(catapult or whip effect) in connection with the use of a safety harness according to EN 361:2002 in work cages of elevating
platforms which are equipped with suitable anchor points Addapted and tested fonction of the DIN 19427.
The operating instructions of the elevating platform must be observed!
The following must be observed amongst other things:
1.
As a matter of principle, injuries of the operator using the device, such as hitting the work cage or the boom of the
elevating platform, when using the fall arrester cannot be excluded the user must foresee an evacuation plan or an
emergency plan in the event of a fall of the operator.
2.
The fall arrester may only be used in connection with safety harnesses according to EN 361:2002 with on the back,
chest and thoracic D-Ring.
3.
Only anchor points with a sufficient load-bearing capacity and which are at least 35 cm below the handrail may be
used. When using higher anchor points at the work cage, the safe functioning of the fall arrester is no longer ensured
for this application.

environment when being thrown out, the free space below the work cage must be at least 4 m.
8.
The total insert length of the blocfor 1.8 A/B ESD &1.8A evo including all connectors must not exceed 1.8 m. In the
event of a fall, the impact is 3kN maximum.
