The principle of operation for our KFS probes with KFA evaluation unit is based on the patented three-
electrode measuring principle. This principle requires a counter-electrode, which is usually provided by
the machine or plant potential, or galvanically connected by the BE wire (functional earth). The adjustment
can be made with the EasyTeach by Wire function directly from the control panel or with the EasyTeach
by Magnet function on the device itself.
The switching points of the probe can be identified in the part number. E.G. KFS-5-2...1000-15/100-...,
1000 = probe length, 15 = position of the first measuring point from the probe tip, 100 = position of the
second measuring point from the probe tip.
The KFA evaluation unit is suitable for connecting 1 or 2 probes with 1 switch point, or 1 probe with 2
switching points.

The principle of operation for our KSL area sensors with KSLA evaluation unit is based on the patented
three-electrode measuring principle. : This principle requires a counter-electrode, which is usually pro-
vided by the machine or plant potential, or galvanically connected by the BE wire (functional earth). The
adjustment can be made with the EasyTeach by wire function directly from the control panel or with the
EasyTeach by Magnet function on the device itself.
The KSL area sensors are customize designed for the place of use. There are KSL area sensors with
one and two switching points.
The KSLA evaluation unit is suitable for connecting 1 or 2 sensors with 1 switch point, or 1 sensor with
2 outputs.
