Testing / replacing the batteries
1. Once the battery power has been used up, the red LED of the
FR
battery display (E) starts flashing. To ensure proper operation,
please replace the batteries in such a case.
2. To do so, remove the battery compartment lid (K) on the
IT
underside of the device by sliding it backwards.
3. Remove the two batteries and replace them with two new
ES
batteries of the same type (2 x 3 VDC lithium CR 2032).
When inserting the batteries, ensure that the + sides point
towards the underside of the device (the side with the rating
NL
plate).
4. Close the battery compartment.
PL
Caution:
1. Remove the batteries when the device is not used for an
RU
extended period of time.
2. Do not mix old and new batteries or different battery types.

Fields of application
The Promed ACP device can be applied in three fields:
-
Detection mode: This is used to detect acupuncture points.
-
Manual therapy: No time limit for therapy.
-
Therapy with automatic time settings: 30 seconds or
60 seconds of therapy time for the acupuncture point.
Pick up the device as shown in the image. Hold the Promed
ACP device in such a way that you are touching the contact
electrode (N). A closed circuit is required for application. The
contact electrode (N) forms one pole (counter-electrode) and the
acupuncture tip (A) forms the other pole (active electrode). When
applying treatment to another person, it is equally important to
keep the circuit closed, i.e. by touching the person to be treated
using the free hand or by using the external electrode (O).
Detection mode
Switch on the device by pressing the Power On / Off button
(F). An acoustic signal and a lit LED (G) above the time interval
button (M) indicate that the device is switched on. The device is
now in detection mode.
Apply the acupuncture tip (A) to the skin using slight pressure –
approximately in the area where the acupuncture point should
be located (see companion book). When you start the detection,
the acoustic signal will become higher and one or more LEDs will
