4a. FOR SIDE SPRAY AND NO SPRAY
INSTALLATION:
Install faucet through deck holes (threaded
shank (19) to back). Center faucet on sink
with support plate (21) oriented in sink
holes. Position spout to the side to keep
faucet from tilting forward. Refer to step 4b
for installation of mounting bracket (22).
AFTER REFERRING TO 4b, install
mounting nut (23) and tighten. Go to step 5.

5. Be sure faucet is positioned evenly on sink.
Make final tightening of mounting nut (23)
with a basin wrench, channel locks, or 5/8"
deep socket wrench.
NOTE: for ease of installation, models with
single hole valve body come equipped with
mounting tool (29) (not included with other

4b. FOR SPRAY IN DECK PLATE INSTALLATION:
WARNING: Do not straighten bent supply tubes
until step 6. Install faucet through deck holes
(threaded shank (19) to back). Position spout to
side to keep faucet from tilting forward.
HINT: Position mounting bracket onto threaded
shank (17) and around supply tubes (18). Do NOT
kink tubing. AFTER REFERRING TO 4c, install
mounting nut (22) and tighten by hand. Install
spray hose (24) and head (27) through deck plate
hole. Go to step 5.
6
6. If supply tubes are bent, carefully straighten
each one using two hands. If using flexible
supply lines with compression fittings, thread
supply line nuts on finger tight, then holding
one threaded fitting with a wrench, tighten nut
with another wrench, rotating one half turn. Do
not overtighten. Make connections to existing
hot and cold stop valves. The hot supply tube
is always to the left when threaded shank (19)
is positioned to rear. Go to step 7.

3a. For side spray unit: Place foam gasket on hose guide (27) shank. Do not
drive the center area of the gasket up into hose guide. Install hose guide
(27) through furthest left or right hole in sink.
3b. For side spray in deck: Place hose guide (27) into escutcheon (14).
Both models: From under the sink, thread locknut (26) (flat side up) on hose

As shown above, your deck thickness
determines whether the mounting bracket (22)
is installed open side up or down. For side
spray models, a groove on the threaded shank
(19) indicates the minimum amount of thread
length which must be exposed for proper
attachment of nuts (23) and (24). For models
without side spray, a minimum of 1/2" of
threaded shank (19) must be exposed for
proper attachment of nut (23).
Return to step 4a.

TO CONNECT SPRAY HOSE (FOR ALL
SPRAY MODELS):
7. Connect spray hose swivel nut (24) to the
threaded shank (19). Tighten swivel nut by
hand plus 1/4 turn with pliers or channel
locks, being careful not to twist the hose
(25). DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN.
