A
Plumber's
Putty
1. Apply a bead of plumber's putty (not provided) under the bottom of the two
handle escutcheons (10). Place handle escutcheons over each valve
body, allowing them to rest on the deck. Rotate the valve stem extensions
(A) to the "OFF" position (clockwise for HOT [RED], and counter-clockwise
for COLD [BLUE]).
2. Hot/Cold Temperature Indicator Installation (OPTIONAL)
If the temperature indicators are desired on your faucet, installation is as
follows:
a. Remove the handle hub (9) from the handle (2 or 4) by grasping the
handle hub in one hand, and separating the handle from the handle
hub with the other hand.
b. Install the RED (HOT) temperature indicator onto a handle assembly
by aligning the indicator slots with the chassis (5) tabs, then sliding the
temperature indicator over the chassis until it makes contact with the
handle.
c. Re-assemble the handle assembly with temperature indicator into the
handle hub, being sure that the chassis tabs align with the handle hub
slots. Push the handle hub onto the chassis until it stops.
d. Repeat the above steps for installing the BLUE (COLD) temperature
indicator onto the cold handle assembly.

Lavatory Waste Trim Installation Instructions:
1. Place the Seat Cover (3) into seat (6) and push down carefully. Be careful not to bend the Seat Cover.
2. Screw the Drain Plug Head piece (1) firmly onto the Drain Plug Base (4). Be careful not to cross thread the parts. Ensure that the o-ring is correctly seated
on the Drain Plug Head Piece.
3. Connect the Pivot Rod (10) to the lift rod strap (7) using the spring clip (9).
4. Place the drain plug into the full open position, loosen the lift rod strap screw (8) and adjust the lift rod (5) height so that the knob clears the faucet spout.
Tighten the lift rod strap screw. Installation is now complete.
To disassemble the waste assembly, reverse the steps as listed above. In order to remove seat cover, use a screwdriver to bend snap features back from
the inside as shown above. Do not try to lift the seat cover with any tool from the outside.

3. Position the HOT (left) handle on valve pointing 180° from the spout
mounting position. Holding the handle stationary with one hand, apply a
slight downward pressure, and rotate the handle hub (9) clockwise with the
other hand (to ensure correct handle installation, rotate the handle
clockwise, then counter-clockwise.
directions). Taking care not to cross-thread, continue to tighten the handle
hub by hand until it is firmly seated against the handle escutcheon. NOTE:
the handle should stop in the "OFF" position when the handle is pointing
away from the spout position, and full "ON" when the handle is pointing
towards the operator. Repeat the above step for installing the COLD
(right) handle assembly.
4. Apply a bead of plumber's putty (not provided) under the bottom of the
spout escutcheon (15 ). Using the grease packet (supplied), apply grease
to the o-ring seals of the spout tube (B). Place the escutcheon over the
spout tube and onto the deck. Assemble the spout (13) onto the spout
tube by engaging the spout tube into the spout. Secure the spout by
inserting a 7/32" hex wrench (supplied) through the lift rod hole in the spout
body and into the mounting screw. Applying a slight downward pressure
to the spout, rotate the hex wrench clockwise until the spout is firmly
seated against the spout escutcheon. NOTE: The aerator is
pre-assembled into the spout.
5. IF YOU ARE NOT INSTALLING WASTE ASSEMBLY TRIM, the faucet
installation is complete. Faucet flushing is required. See faucet flushing
instructions under maintenance section on page 3.
