4. Initial Operation
The initial operation of the burner may only be carried out by qualified personnel according to DVGW
stipulations or valid national regulations.
Please observe the following:
⇒ Check if the type of gas and the connection pressure of the burner correspond to the gas supply.
⇒ Check the fit of the connection pipe and that it is not damaged.
⇒ Close the gas shut-off valve at the laboratory workbench (gas isolation valve).
⇒ Slide the certified gas hose (according to DIN 30664 or DVGW G 5501-P) up to the last groove of the
hose spout (5) on the burner. If necessary, secure the hose in position with a clamp or ring clasp (see
DVGW worksheet G 621 or relevant national specifications).
