MAINTENANCE
WARNING - before any maintenance operation,
unplug the machine.
1. LUBRICATION
The mitre saw is delivered with in all moving parts of the
motor and gearbox entirely lubricated and needs no
further lubrication operations.
Regular lubrication is recommended of the joints of the
moving controls.
2. ORDINARY CLEANING
WARNING - avoid touching the handle with hands
dirty with oil or grease. In such an event, clean
immediately.
- Carefully clean the machine after use w ith dry com-
pressed air.
PART REPLACEMENT
WARNING – before carrying out any replacement,
unplug the machine.
1. REPLACING THE SAW BLADE I
Replace as follows:
- Set the head to fully open.
- Raise the upper bench as far as is allowed.
- Remove screw 1 (Fig.4b) to release portable protec-
tion J.
- Use the wrench on the billet holes (5) maintaining the
shaft blocked w ith the other socket w rench, supplied
by the manufacture, unscrewing the left screw (6) until
the saw blade is released I (Fig.4a). Important: the
screw has a left-hand thread, so turn it to the right
in order to loosen it.
- Push the blade to the left and upwards at the same time
to remove it from its housing. Then extract downwards.
- Install the new saw blade ensuring that the teeth point
in the direction indicated by the arrow on the blade
cover casing, then firmly secure it to the shaft.
- Replace screw 1 (Fig.4b).
- Check that the distance betw een the saw blade and
the dividing blade is from 2 to 5 mm (Fig.8).
2. REPLACING THE BRUSHES
The brushes must be replaced after
hours of use or w hen they have reached a length of 5-6
mm. Go to an authorised service centre for this change.
Do not dispose of electric to ols in
the household waste!
In accordance with European Directive 2002/96/EC
relating to old electrical and electronic appliances and
its translation into national law , used electric tools must
be collected separately and recycled in an ecologically
desirable way.
