REPLACEMENT CARTRIDGE INSTRUCTIONS
Important: Match "FILTER 1" cartridge with left hand "FILTER 1"
head and "FILTER 2" cartridge with right hand "FILTER 2" head.
1. Turn off water supply at saddle valve (if
used) or at undersink cold water line.
2. Remove protective shroud from bracket.
Reset shut-off meter, located between the
two filter cartridges, by pushing in the knob
and turning clockwise (or to the right) when
"START" is aligned with the black arrow on
the meter body. Open faucet and let run for
one minute to depressurize the system.
3. Lift red knob upward, found on "FILTER 1"
head and hold.
4. Turn "FILTER 1" cartridge to the left until
stops, about 1/4 turn, and gently pull straight
down. Discard spent cartridge. If system has
not been properly depressurized, a small
amount of water may discharge.
5. Align tabs of "FILTER 1" cartridge with
"FILTER 1" head and insert cartridge. Turn
cartridge to the right, about 1/4 turn, until a
clicking sound is heard. The cartridge is now
properly seated. Repeat Steps 3, 4 and 5 for
"FILTER 2".
6. Turn on water at saddle valve or water line
undersink and check system for leaks. If
leaks occur, check connections or repeat
cartridge installation.
7. Flush 5 gallons through system before use
(approximately 10 minutes).
