- Before carrying out any work on the tool
always pull out the fl exible power cord
from the power socket.
- Hold power tool by insulated grip-
ping surfaces, when performing an
operation where the fastener may
contact hidden wiring or its own
cord. Fasteners contacting a "live" wire
may make exposed metal parts of the
power tool "live" and could give the op-
erator an electric shock.
- When drilling into a wall it is necessary
to pay attention to possible gas or water
pipes and also electrical cables.
- Combining the auto feed attachment with
the power screwdriver creates a device to
which the safety regulations and instruc-
tions for power screwdrivers apply.
- During operation protect the eyes – pay
extra attention when working above head
level!!
- Use protection for the airways, wear a
respirator!

4.2 Emission levels

Levels determined in accordance with
EN 60 745 are typically:
Sound pressure level
Noise level
Uncertainty
CAUTION
Operating noise
Damage to hearing
► Use ear protection!
Vibration emission value a
three directions) and uncertainty K meas-
ured in accordance with EN 60 745:
Uncertainty
The emission values specifi ed (vibration,
noise) were measured in accordance with
the test conditions stipulated in EN 60 745
and are intended for machine comparisons.
They are also used for making preliminary
estimates regarding vibration and noise
loads during operation.
The emission values specifi ed refer to the
main applications for which the power tool
L

PA

K = 3 dB

is used. If the electric power tool is used for
other applications, with other tools or is not
maintained suffi ciently prior to operation,
however, the vibration and noise load may
be higher when the tool is used.
Take into account any machine idling times
and downtimes to estimate these values
more accurately for a specifi ed time period.
This may signifi cantly reduce the load dur-
ing the machine operating period.

Power tool settings

► Setting must be done only when the pow-
er tool is turned off and will be accepted
only after restarting it.
5.1 Changing the direction
of rotation
The forward / reverse switch [1-3] changes
the direction of rotation.
Move switch from right to left = clockwise
rotation;
Move switch from left to right = anticlock-
wise rotation.

Bit holder

The bit holder is used for fast replacement
of bits.
CAUTION
Risk of cutting injuries when chang-
ing the tool!
► Wear protective gloves!
Bit holder assembly
Set the switch [1-4] into MAN position. Set
the bit holder [3-2] completely to the hex-
agonal spindle opening [3-4].
Attach bit into the holder [3-3].
Then attach the depth stopper on the gear
box as specifi ed in point 7.2.
Bit holder disassembly
Remove the depth stopper as specifi ed in
point 7.2. Use power to pull out the holder
from the spindle opening.
