c. Route the ground wire of the hood switch harness
towards the passenger side shock tower, tucking the
ground wire down past the anti-freeze overflow container.
Secure to the factory harness with (1) wire wrap.

2. Connect the hood switch harness to
ground
a. Remove the 10 mm bolt located on the
passenger side shock tower.
Ground Location
13 mm Bolt
b. Install the hood switch ground wire ring
terminal over the bolt and reinstall back
into the shock tower.
Note: To aid in the hood switch harness
ground installation, remove the 13 mm bolt
securing the steering fluid reservoir. This
will allow for the hoses connected to the
reservoir to be moved to gain access to
the ground bolt.
