Horizontal / vertical operation
The horizontal lines and the vertical lines can be used
in any combination. (fig. II)
Operation with hand-held receiver
Press button for operation with hand-held receiver
[6].
3 The indicator [7] illuminates in green. You can now
detect the beam in a distance of up to 60m with
your hand receiver.
Note
The function is only available if either hori-
zontal or vertical lines are switched on.

Switching off

Block the compensator using the On/Off rotary
knob [1].

Accuracy test (fig VI)
Perform the accuracy test before using the device
for the first time, then at regular intervals. In case
of deviations, send the device to Würth Master
Service.
Horizontal accuracy (fig. III)
Set up the device between two walls, maintain
a distance of approx. 0.3m from one and 10m
from the other wall.
Switch on the 360° horizontal line and all
vertical lines.
Mark point a
on the wall in approx. 0.3m

Turn the device by 90°.
Align the horizontal beam such that it is identical
in height with point a

The specified accuracy is the maximum

Vertical accuracy (fig. IV)
Set up the device at a distance of 5m from a
wall.
Hang a plumb bob with a rope of at least 2m
length on the wall.
Switch on the middle vertical lines.
Align the vertical line with the plumb line by
turning the fine adjustment knob.
Measure the difference D4. The distance should
not exceed half the value of the specified ac-
curacy.

Place the device in the corner of a room with
side lengths of 3.2m and 4.2m.
Switch on all vertical lines.
Measure exactly 4m from the plumb point of the
device alongside the vertical laser line and mark
point A on the floor.
Measure exactly 3m from the plumb point of the
device alongside the second vertical laser line
and mark point B on the floor.
Measure distance C between A and B, it should
be exactly 5m.
Expected accuracy ±0.8mm.
Repeat this procedure with the 3rd vertical line.
Accuracy of the downward plumb beam
and the laser cross on the ceiling (fig.VI)
Set the device on a tripod (accessory). Ensure
that the device is 1.2m above the ground.
Switch on the downward plumb line and mark
