Setup Guide for Telephone Plug-in
Installation
Before installing Telephone Plug-in for Microsoft Outlook, confirm the following.
– Make sure Microsoft Outlook is installed on your computer
– Make sure the base unit is plugged in and turned on
– Make sure the base unit is not connected to your computer

Start your computer, log in, and exit all applications.
R You must be logged in as an administrator in order to install Telephone Plug-in
for Microsoft Outlook.

Download the installer from the Panasonic web site.

Double-click the installer.

Follow the on-screen instructions and install Telephone Plug-in for Microsoft
Outlook.
Uninstalling Telephone Plug-in for Microsoft Outlook

Exit all applications and disconnect the base unit from your computer.

From the Start menu, point to [All Programs] ® [Panasonic] ® [Telephone
Plug-in], and then click [Uninstall].

Follow the on-screen instructions and uninstall Telephone Plug-in for Microsoft
Outlook.
Connecting the base unit to your computer
Use the mini-USB cable supplied with your Panasonic phone system to connect the
base unit to your computer.
Note:
R Make sure you have installed Telephone Plug-in for Microsoft Outlook before you
connect your base unit to the computer.
R When you make or a receive a call using Telephone Plug-in for Microsoft Outlook,
the base unit speakerphone is activated automatically. You can switch from the
speakerphone to the corded handset by lifting the corded handset.
