6. Remove Device
6.1 Remove TS01B in Windows XP/2000/Vista OS
1. In Windows Vista, XP, or Windows 2000, to remove the enclosure from the computer, please right
click the green arrow icon in the task bar.
Please select "Safely remove USB Mass Storage device", wait for the icons disappeared and you
can disconnect the enclosure from the computer.
2.Use the RFID key and close it to the back cover with "RFID SECURITY" mark on it.
The TS01B external drive will give off a one-short beep sound and the green arrow icon will disappear.
The TS01B external disk is encrypted and ready to remove.
6.2 Remove TS01B in Mac OS
1. Drag the hard drive icon to the trash can on the desktop before shutting down or disconnecting the
external hard drive.
2. Use the RFID key and close it to the back cover with "RFID SECURITY" mark on it.
The TS01B external drive will give off a one-short beep sound. The TS01B external disk is encrypted
and ready to remove.
