6 Spare parts

The knee joint is supplied with 1 set of stop bumper elements (3A1800/E22).
The elements can be easily exchanged when worn out. Use a small screw
driver to lever the worn out stop bumper elements (blue) from their supports
and to push in new ones. Always replace the entire set!

7 Maintenance / Service

Attention!
The knee joint 3A1800 KINEGEN.air-active must not be
demounted!
The knee joint 3A1800 KINEGEN.air-active must be inspected for possible
dirt residue and for proper function after 6 months. The knee joint must be
inspected annually for wear and tear and functionality and if necessary,
must be readjusted.
If necessary, the knee joint must be cleaned (not with compressed air) and
readjusted. In case of recognisable functional changes of the pneumatic
mechanism, incomplete extension, sluggishness or increased sounds, please
return the knee joint to Streifeneder ortho.production for maintenance.
Heavy wear of the stop bumper elements may lead to limited functionality.
Attention!
To eliminate sounds in the cosmetic soft foam cover, use
silicone spray item nr. 116P11. Do not use talcum powder!
Using talcum powder increases the risk of the patient falling,
as talcum powder withdraws grease from the mechanical
components and therefore function may be inhibited. If the
medical product is used with talcum powder, all claims against
Streifeneder ortho.production are null and void. Spray the
silicone spray item nr. 116P11 directly onto the friction surfaces
of the cosmetic soft foam cover.
