If the support mode is required for, e.g., commer-
cial vehicles with 24 volts, you have to switch the
voltage to 24 V by pressing the gear symbol in the
menu for 3 seconds (3.8.3.2 Adjusting the charging
parameters). The current values of the output vol-
tage and the output current are permanently visible
in the display.
3.8.5 Current consumption test, exhaus-
ted batteries
At the start of a normal charging process, the
charger will check the current consumption capacity
of the battery and whether it is exhausted. To pass
the test, the battery voltage must have risen above
1.5 volts/cell after 30 minutes. Charging will then
continue automatically. Otherwise, a timeout error
will be issued. While the battery is in the voltage
range of between 0.25 volts/cell and 1.5 volts/
cell, it will automatically be charged gently with a
reduced current.

3.9 Service menu

In this menu, settings can be made that affect other
functions of the device. The service area is a sub-
menu of the settings menu (3.8.3.2 Adjusting the
charging parameters). In the settings menu, touch
the "Service" button for approx. 3 seconds.

This will cause more rows to be shown in the menu.
You can navigate through these rows using the up/
down arrows and can select the relevant entries.
The selected entry will have a dark background.

3.9.1 General functions

The software version is displayed in the bottom row.
Language selection is another menu item. Here,
you can set the stored languages. The process for
selecting the language is carried out exactly as
described under 3.8.3.2.

3.9.2 Charging parameters
There is a further row which gives you the possibility
of adjusting the gassing voltage (end-of-charge
voltage) for all battery types except the universal
characteristic curve, "Uni". The voltage can be
changed in 0.1 volt increments – within a specified
range (only for 12 V batteries).
