LED 503
GENERAL FEATURES
The LED503 control was designed to control all Galletti system terminals with
multi-speed single-phase asynchronous motors.
MAIN FUNCTIONS AND EQUIPMENT
G B
> Air temperature control by means of automatic fan speed variation.
> Air temperature control by means of fixed-speed fan ON-OFF switch.
> Management of On/Off valves for two or four-piped systems.
> Resistance management for heating support.
> Cooling/Heating changeover in following modes:
-
manual on board
-
manual remote (centralised)
-
automatic, depending on water temperature
-
automatic, depending on air temperature
It is also supplied with:
> a voltage-free contact for external consent (for example; window
contact, remote ON/OFF, presence sensor, summer/winter changeover
etc.) with settable logic (normally open/normally closed)
> Remote water temperature probe (accessory).
> Remote air temperature probe (accessory) (if this probe is present, it is
used in place of the internal one to read room temperature).
The control panel includes:
> 4-digit LED display
> Keyboard
LCD DISPLAY (SEE FIGURE 1)

air temperature/water temperature/temperature SET/parameters
ATTENTION: when powering a wall-mounted controller (with a built-in
temperature probe) after a prolonged period of shutdown, it
is important to wait approximately 10 minutes for the room
temperature shown on the display to reach the correct value
and the probe to bring itself in reading mode.
This appliance is not intended to be used by children or persons
with physical, sensorial or mental problems, inexpert or unprepared,
without supervision.
Be careful that children do not approach the appliance.
KEYBOARD (SEE FIGURE 2)
UP and DOWN KEYS: changes temperature SET (heating:
[5.0-30.0], cooling: [10.0-35.0]). Pressing them simulta-
neously (with controller OFF) allows to access the param-
eter configuration procedure. During parameter change,
the two keys are used to select the parameters or to change their value. Pressing
them simultaneously (with controller ON) allows to view the water temperature
briefly (if the probe is present and configured)

FAN KEY: selection of operation speed. Pressing it for a prolonged
span allows to turn the control off. With the control OFF, is allows
you to turn the control on. In parameter configuration mode, it is
used as a confirmation key.
MODE KEY: allows to select the operation mode, namely SUMMER
(COOLING) or WINTER (HEATING). In OFF mode, the key allows
you to save and exit the parameter change procedure.
BOARD CONFIGURATION
The board can be configured depending on the type of terminal/system to be
governed by changing some parameters.
PARAMETER LIST
P00
=control configuration (see "Available Configurations") to select
the type of terminal to be managed.
P01
= type of control installation
0 : on the terminal
1 : wall-mounted
P02
= (not used)
P03
= neutral zone [20-50 °C/10]; parameter used for configurations with
automatic cooling / heating changeover depending on air temperature.
P04
=water probe:
0 : not available
1 : available
Based on the set value, the probe alarm and the electrical heater functions will
be controlled.
P05
=use of Digital Input:
0: [open/closed] = [ON/OFF]
1: [open/closed] = [COOLING/HEATING]
P06
= Digital Input logic:
0: [open/closed] = [ON/OFF] = [COOLING/HEATING]
1: [open/closed] = [OFF/ON] = [HEATING/COOLING]
N.B.: in the FLAT and 2x1 units, the P05 and P06 parameters are not
modified as the digital input must be connected to the ON/OFF control
micro switch linked to the opening/closing of the flap.
