ADHESIVE METHOD INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
1. SIDE PANELS
Locate the location of the plumbing holes; if no
plumbing holes exist, proceed to Step 2. Transfer
the data to the left side panel (A) or right side panel
(B). If a shower arm is placed within the walls of
the unit, the hole for the shower arm should be
placed 1-1/2 in. from the top of the required side
panel. This is to ensure the shower arm does not
interfere with the hanging rail and is supported
by the reinforced backer located in this position.
Using a jig saw or standard bi-metal hole saw
(neither included), cut out the plumbing holes.
Protect the finish surface with masking tape (not
included) where the saw will contact the surface.
2. If necessary, place 1/16 in. thick shims (not
included) where the left side panel (A) and right
side panel (B) will rest on the shower base. Trial fit
the left side panel (A) and right side panel (B) to
ensure the stud pocket was properly prepared and
that there are no obstructions. Apply a continuous
bead of silicone adhesive (E) to the entire length of
the groove at the open end of the backwall panel
(not included), then apply heavy-duty panel
adhesive (not included) to the wood blocking on the
top edge and the full length of the front finish edge
of left side panel (A) and right side panel (B).
Slide the left side panel (A) and right side panel (B)
into the groove of the back wall panel and secure
firmly to the wall with the panel adhesive. If the left
side panel (A) and/or right side panel (B) pull from
the wall, see OPTIONAL WOOD BRACING
INSTRUCTIONS on page 8. Clean up excess
silicone adhesive (E) with denatured alcohol (not
included) while silicone adhesive (E) is still wet.
