Vehicle Recovery Ring.
An improperly attached or overloaded Vehicle Recovery Ring can break or DETACH WITH GREAT FORCE. If the
Vehicle Recovery Ring, any strap or any hardware still attached strikes a bystander or person in the recovery
vehicles, it can cause death, serious injury or damage to the vehicles.

Know how to safely use Vehicle Recovery Ring

READ and FOLLOW all warnings when using the Vehicle Recovery Ring.

ALWAYS take your time to assess your situation and plan your recovery carefully.

Consider a 4WD training course for recovery techniques.
NEVER exceed the 10,000 lbs. capacity of the Vehicle Recovery Ring.

DO NOT exceed your vehicle manufacturer's recommended towing capacity. Consult the owner's manual for
your vehicle.

ONLY use a recovery strap with a breaking strength less than the 10,000 lb. capacity of the Vehicle Recovery
Ring.
INSPECT for signs of wear, rust and damage BEFORE each use

DO NOT use if damaged.
CHECK the Vehicle Recovery Ring is properly attached using a hitch pin and clip.
KEEP OUT of the Danger Zone

Bystanders can be struck by recovery strap recoil or unexpected movement of the vehicles.

ALWAYS move bystanders a safe distance from the recovery area.

KEEP OUT of the recovery vehicles path.

NEVER stand in front of, between or behind vehicles during recovery. Vehicles could move suddenly and
unexpectedly.

ONLY persons involved in the recovery should be in either vehicle.
AVOID shock loads

DO NOT impact, jerk and/or swing the load during recovery. These actions can overload your Vehicle
Recovery Ring and cause it to break or detach.
NEVER use for conventional towing of vehicles, trailers or RVs on the roadway
When not in use, the Vehicle Recovery Ring should be removed from your hitch and stored in your vehicle.
