3 Operating Instructions

1. Check the adapter for completeness, as well as
visible damages such as signs of wear,
deformation, breakages, cracks, and corrosion
damages prior to each use. Do not use the adapter
when defects are noted and discard them
immediately.
2. Check all threads for proper function.
3. Carry out the necessary preparation work for the
use of the adapter in accordance with the
workshop manuals.
4. Attach the adapter T40234 to the suspension
device 3033 as described in the workshop manuals
and fix with the knurled nut.
WARNING
Risk through falling load!
Incorrect attachment of the adapter may result in a
tilting or falling load. This can cause serious injuries or
damage to materials.
Fix the knurled nut to the suspension device 3033.
Attach the adapter to the workshop crane VAS 6100
exactly as described in the workshop manuals. Use
further approved accessories if necessary.
Observe the operating manual of the used
accessories.
Ensure the securing unit of the load hook is closed
completely.
Check the secure seat of the adapter T40234 before
lifting the load.
5. Ensure the load stands securely when setting
down.
6. Carry out further work as described in the
workshop manuals.
7. Ensure that all parts of the special tool have been
removed after completing the repair work.

4 Inspection and Maintenance

Check the adapter for completeness, as well as
visible damages such as signs of wear, deformation,
breakages, cracks, and corrosion damages prior to
each use. Check all threads for proper function. Do
not use the adapter when defects are noted and
discard them immediately.
Spare parts are available on request. Use only
original replacement parts.
