II. Assembly
(minimum of two people required)
Note: Prepare a clean area for assembling the equipment.
1 - Attach the upright (1) on floor, using the 4 chemical anchors (2) shipped with the equipment
(see NM13), and gradually tighten until locking (see Fig. 1).
2 - Secure the stepladder (5) to the upright (1), using the clamp (9) and screws (10) + (11) but do not tighten
(see Fig. 2).
3 - Attach the stepladder (5) on floor, using the chemical anchor (26) shipped with the upright
package (1) (Ref.: 270/02) (see Fig. 3).
4 - Attach the steps (6) to the stepladder (5), using the screws (7) + locknuts (8) (see Fig. 4).
5 - Secure the standing board (22) to the rocking frame (17), using the screws (23) fitted with washers
(24) + (25) (see Fig. 5).
Take care: The standing board has one direction along the width: it should be installed in line
with the front of the rocking frame (17).
6 - Slide the assembly (12) + (17) + (22) into the upright (1), after having released the thumbscrew (4),
and pressing the pawl (3) (see Fig. 6).
7 - Release the pawl (3) at the desired notch, then tighten the thumbscrew (4).

be aligned
II. Adjusting the height:
1 - Unlocking: Untighten the thumbscrew (4) by 2 to 3 turns.
2 - Unnotching: Press and hold down the pawl (3). (unnotching is not required when
increasing the height).
3 - Raise or lower the sliding tube (12) until the desired height is obtained.
Check that the pin of the pawl (3) is correctly set into a hole of the sliding tube (12).
4 - Locking: Tighten the thumbscrew (4).
III. Adjustment values:
Apparatus access platform height: 1270 to 1670 mm (5 holes in 10 cm steps).
IV. Maintenance:
1 - A regular cleaning of the apparatus allows better viewing of the problems, if any (distortion,
breakage, or corrosion).
2 - Before use, check wear parts and safety elements each time for good condition and operation:
standing board (22), cylinder (13), stop tube (14), thumbscrew (4) (tightened), pawl (3) (notched).
3 - Check the correct tightening of all attachment elements (2) + (7) + (10) + (15) + (16) + (19) + (23) + (26).
4 - Important:
- If a problem is detected or suspected, do not use the equipment as long as it has not been checked by a technician.
- Any damaged or distorted piece should be replaced as soon as possible.
V. Storage:
Always store the equipment away from humidity and heat.
