FRAGMA
MAINTENANCE
·
To ensure the efficiency of the product it is imperative that competent, professional personnel carry out maintenance within the time limits established by
the installer, the manufacturer and the legislation in force.
·
Maintenance activities, repairs and replacement of parts must be duly documented. The documentation must be kept by the user so that it is available for
the relevant competent personnel.
·
Always disconnected the equipment from the power supply by means of the main switch or by removing the plug, and disconnect the back-up battery
before performing maintenance or cleaning. If the power is ON for operation checks, check or disable all control devices (radio controls, pushbutton panels
etc.) with the exception of the device used by the maintenance engineer.
Automatic gate systems with mechanical parts should be inspected frequently, to check for imbalances or signs of mechanical damage to the supports and the
harness.
Routine maintenance
All the following operations must be performed when necessary, and at least once a year.
Barrier:
- Clean and lubricate mechanisms
- Ensure that all nuts and screws are tightened fully down
- Check operation of the manual release
- Ensure correct opening/closing and respective limiters
Automation system:
- Check electrical connections and cables
- Check operation of safety and protection devices
- Check battery status, if fitted.
N.B. In any event, replace the battery every 2 months.
special maintenance
No special maintenance is envisaged for this system. However, if intervention of mechanical parts is necessary, always remove the operator before proceed-
ing to enable repairs by authorised personnel.
If the power supply cable is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its technical assistance
DIsMANTLING - DIsPOsAL
If the decision is taken to decommission the actuators or the entire automatic closure system, it should be removed and recycled in accordance
