BASKET STRAINER
1. Ensure that water is turned off before proceeding
2. If there is already a basket strainer installed that needs to be replaced, remove the old basket strainer
3. Clean around the drain opening with a non-abrasive cleanser and soft rag. Dry area completely.
4. Remove the Locknut and both Washers
5. Apply a small amount of putty around the hole in the sink about a 1/2" from the opening
6. Insert the new basket strainer into the sink opening
7. Slip the Rubber and Paper Washers onto the Body of the basket strainer
8. Thread the Locknut onto the Body of the basket strainer and tighten
9. Wipe off excess putty that may have seeped through sink opening after tightening Locknut
10. Add the Tailpiece Washer onto the extension tube and connect to the basket strainer with the Slip Nut
11. Ensure the Slip Nut is secure
12. Test for leaks by turning on the water supply and faucet
