Route your cable in the desired
direction as shown in an example
above. Please refer to the frame
manufacturer's desired cable rout-
ing specifications.
Temporary fixation

Measure the required length of cable and cable housing by turning your
handlebars to their most extreme turned position. Once you have the
handlebars turned, check to see if you have the correct amount of cable
showing above the seat tube. If it is too long, trim the housing.
DO NOT trim the cable itself!

Once you have the cable housing trimmed to the proper length, you can now
set the length of the cable. There needs to be a 15mm gap between the end
of the cable and the end of the housing as shown in image 1.
Once you have measured out 15mm's of gap, place the locking nut on the
cable. Use a 3mm wrench and a 2mm wrench to tight the lock nut. shown in
Image 2 Trim any excess cable.
Image 3Place the locking nut into the release arm on the bottom of the post.
Insert the locking nut first, then fits within the groove.
