7.4 Maintenance of Fuel Filter Cup

8. Electrical Start

WARNING Poisonous liquid sulfuric acid inside battery. Tilting generator set
with battery may result in sulfuric acid leakage.
Keep children away from the unit.
Avoid liquid acid from touching your skin or eyes.
CAUTION If the unit is not to be used for long time, please disconnect the
positive pole of the battery and have the pole wrapped up with insulated
tape.
8.1 Starting the Unit (Please consult Chapter 5 for relevant instructions)
Turn the ignition switch to START position for 2-3 seconds.
CAUTION If the unit cannot be started within 10 seconds, please release
the key for 10 seconds and repeat the previous operation to avoid power
lack. If the unit still cannot be started, please consult Chapter
Troubleshooting.
7.4.1 Set the fuel switch to OFF position, Dismantle the fuel
filter cup and gauze (Figure 44)
7.4.2 Clean the fuel filter cup and gauze.
7.4.3 Mount the fuel filter cup and gauze to
their original position. (Figure 45)
