Removing a jammed log (08)

CAUTION!
Risk of injury from a
jammed log flying out
(08/b)
If a jammed log flies out of
the appliance, injuries can
be caused and the appli-
ance may be damaged.
Never try to drive a
jammed log out with a
hammer (08/2) or sim-
ilar tool.
1. Take both hands away from the ON button
and control lever.
2. Allow the log pusher to come to a complete
standstill.
3. Push a wooden wedge (08/1) under the
jammed log (08/a).
4. Drive the wooden wedge completely under
the jammed log using the log pusher.
5. If necessary, repeat with a larger wooden
wedge until the log is freed.
