Filling the pump

The pump must be filled with water prior
to each commissioning. This guarantees
an immediate start up. Dry running dam-
ages the pump.
1.
Open the filler screw (3) on the
device.
2.
Fill water until the filling point
and screw the filler screw (3)
tight again.

Operational start-up

Check that the electrical con-
nection is 230V ~50Hz
Check the proper status of the
electrical plug socket and make
sure that the plug socket is suf-
ficiently fused (at least 10 A). In-
sert the pump plug into the plug
socket and the pump is ready
for operation.
Make sure that moisture or wa-
ter never come in contact with
the mains connection.
There is a risk of electrocution.
Check the suction line.
The suction of the suction line
must be located in the water.
Check the pressure line. The
end of the pressure line should
already be located at the water-
ing position.

Switching ON and OFF

Switching on:
On/off switch (
After a suction period the pump begins
the supply water.
Switching off:
On/off switch (
Avoid the dry running of the pump.
During the entire operation, monitor
the device and the water supply. If
there is not enough water available,
switch the pump off immediately.
The device is equipped with a ther-
mal overloading protection which
switches off if the engine if the
device overheats. To restart, allow
the equipment to cool then switch
it back on.
Cleaning/Maintenance/
Storage
Clean and maintain your equipment regu-
larly. This will guarantee its performance
and long durability.
Ask our service centre to carry out
any work that is not described in
these instructions. Use only origi-
nal parts.
This will prevent damage to the
equipment and any resulting per-
sonal injury.
Pull out the power plug before eve-
ry maintenance operation. There
is a risk of electrocution or of injury
from moving parts.
