If the visor and/or VPS opening/closing mechanisms are damaged or mal-
functioning, do not use the helmet and contact immediately a Nolan author-
ized dealer.
WIND PROTECTOR
This accessory allows improved helmet performance under certain conditions of use.
The Wind Protector reduces unpleasant infiltrations of air under the chin.
See Fig. 10 for the assembly and disassembly.
WARNING!!!
The Wind Protector can be easily removed. You can check the correct assembly
of this accessory by pulling it gently towards the inner part of the helmet with your
thumb and forefinger. If it moves, repeat the assembling operations.
REMOVABLE INNER COMFORT PADDING
To remove and/or reassemble the inner comfort padding, open the helmet chin guard
and lift the VPS.

DISASSEMBLY OF THE CHEEK PADS
1.1 Unfasten the chin strap (see instructions).
1.2 Pull the front part of the left cheek pad towards the inside of the helmet and then
release the snap fasteners on the rear of the pad (Fig. 11A).
1.3 Completely remove the left cheek pad from the helmet by pulling the chin strap
out of the slot on the left cheek pad.
1.4 Repeat these steps with the padding of the right cheek pad.
NOTE: Do not remove the polystyrene cheek pads.

DISASSEMBLY OF THE ROLL NECK
2.1 Remove the rear flaps of the roll neck from their seats on the shell sealing edge as
shown in Fig. 12 and in Fig. 15.
2.2 Once the left cheek pad front snap fastener is released, remove the front eyelet
fastener as shown in Fig. 11 A.
2.3 Repeat this step on the right side of the helmet.
2.4 Remove the roll neck.
2.5 Hook the cheek pads front snap buttons again (left and right).

DISASSEMBLY OF THE LINER
Before removing the liner, remove the roll neck as indicated in the previous paragraph.
3.1 Remove the rear flaps of the liner from their seats on the shell sealing edge as
shown in Fig. 13.
3.2 Hold the front left part of the liner and pull it upwards in order to remove the flap
from the support fixed to the polystyrene inner shell (Fig. 14). Repeat the same
steps to remove the front central and right flaps.
3.3 Completely remove the liner from the helmet.
