PUT ON BOTH HEAD AND END COVER
A.
Install the head cover and end cover.
B.
Install and tighten the S11/S12 machine
screws that were removed previously.

INSTALL STRIKE
A.
With the door in the closed position, place strike on door jamb.
B.
Align the slots with the marked hole centers and align the outside edge of the strike with the outside edge of the door jamb. Verify
that the bolt is centered vertically with the bolt of the exit device.
C.
Drill two holes according to the door material (see template). For machine screws, follow with a 1/4-20 UNC tap.
D.
Replace strike on jamb and insert either two S1 sheet metal screws or S2 machine screws. Tighten rmly.
E.
If necessary for non-standard replacement installations, install the 1/8" thick strike shim under the strike.

OPERATION TEST
A.
After installation is complete, press down the
push bar to make sure the door opens and
closes/latches correctly. Make any
adjustments as needed.
B.
To extend the life of this exit device, lock the
latch in the retracted position when door is in
continuous use.
TO UNLOCK
Hold push bar down. Turn dogging
device clockwise with dogging wrench.
TO LOCK
Hold push bar down. Turn dogging device
counter clockwise with dogging wrench.
