APPENDIX A — CUTTING DEVICE TO CORRECT LENGTH

Device can be cut down for use on a 28" wide door.

Device can be cut down for use on a 30" wide door in a double door + mullion installation.

For doors 30" - 35" wide, use the gure below with the recommended dimensions to determine where to cut the rail and sliding shim.

For doors 28"- 29" wide, remove the sliding shim. Cut the rail at the line marked MAX CUT LIMIT and carefully deburr.
Insert the small sliding shim provided.
NOTE: For a 28" wide door, the
gap between the end cover and
door jamb will be about 3/8".

to the rail to secure the parts and protect the
surface. Cut at the marked position and
deburr carefully.
