4 – GENERAL CHARACTERISTICS
All THREE and SINGLE-PHASE motors are of the enclosed type with
external ventilation; the rotor is of the squirrel-cage type and axis heights
range from 56 to 160 mm. BRONZONI motors comply with IEC, UNEL and
CEI standards, in terms of dimensional and structural characteristics.
5 – ELECTRICAL CHARACTERISTICS
5.1 - Compliance with Electrical Standards
Both THREE and SINGLE-PHASE alternating current motors are
manufactured in conformity with the following standards: CEI 2-3/1110
(whereby the CEI mark can be lawfully used) and IEC 34-1; the latter
corresponding to CENELEC HD 53 1 – French UTENFC 51 100 – German
VDE 0530, British BS 2613 standards.
5.2 – Three phase motors
5.2.1 – Power
Power values in the tables apply under the following conditions: continuous
duty (S1), maximum ambient temperature of 40°C, altitude of less than 1.000
meters above sea level, voltage rating supply and 50 Hz frequency. These
values still apply, provided voltage rating variations do not exceed ± 5%. In
the event of different operating and environmental conditions, contact
BRONZONI for additional information.
5.2.2 – Voltage and Frequency
Table values apply with 230V and 400V voltage rating and with 50 Hz
frequency. If the input voltage of a standard motor has a 60 Hz frequency,
variations of the parameters below occur (power rating remains unchanged!):
- (lower) rated torque;
- (lower) maximum/rated torque ratio;
- (lower) starting torque/rated torque ratio;
- (increased) rated speed.
