9 – STRUCTURAL CHARACTERISTICS
The following materials are used in the standard manufacture of motors: die-
cast aluminium alloy for the motor casing, shields and flanges; C 40 steel for
blanched shaft; fiberglass reinforced Nylon for the cooling fan; galvanized
steel for the bolts and screws and fan cover; phenolic resins for the terminal
board; and aluminium for the terminal board cover. The bearings are
oversize, self-lubrificating, double-shielded and require no greasing.
Painted (with water-based products) or plain (aluminium-coloured) motors are
available.
10 – SPECIAL MODELS
Special models are manufactured on request, according to customers'
specifications.
Should any difficulty arise, contact BRONZONI.
11 – SPEED ADJUSTMENT
11.1 - Do not use the speed adjustment if it was not provided in the
specifications homologated by the Client.
Please contact the manufacturer.
11.2 - If motors are supplied with an INVERTER, the parameters below are to
checked and followed:
• Peak value of voltage < 1000 Volt
• Rise curve of voltage < 55/µs
• Filter in the case of long line
11.3 – If motors are supplied with a TRIAC, it is necessary to take into
account that overheating, higher magnetic noise level and vibrations occur.
This results in a reduction of the motor lifetime.
Filtering system can improve the working conditions, but it cannot solve these
problems.
For this reason, during homologation of the Client particular note must be
taken of these aspects.
12 – HANDLING OF MACHINERY
12.1 – Do not lift motors holding the capacitor, cables, driving shaft and other
components that can be damaged.
12.2 – Cables must be carefully handled avoiding any action that can result in
a damage (e.g.: crushing, pulling etc.).
