16. Models with glass lids: The lid is made of tempered glass. The lid is fragile
and may crack or break if dropped. Handle with care. Always inspect the lid for
chips, cracks or any other damage. Do not use the glass lid if it is damaged, as
it may shatter during use.
17. CAUTION: To protect against electrical shock and product damage, do not cook
directly in the heating base. Cook only in the removable pot provided.
18. When using this appliance, provide adequate ventilation above and on all sides
for air circulation. Do not allow this appliance to touch curtains, wall coverings,
clothing, dishtowels or other flammable materials during use.
19. Never use the removable cooking pot on a gas or electric cooktop or an open
flame.

SPECIAL CORD SET INSTRUCTIONS
1. A short power supply cord is provided to reduce the hazards resulting from
becoming entangled in or tripping over a longer cord.
2. An extension cord may be purchased and used if care is exercised in its use.
3. If an extension cord is used the marked electrical rating of the extension cord
must be the same as the product. The extended cord must be arranged so that
it will not drape over the counter top or tabletop where it can be pulled on by
children or tripped over accidentally.
